Scenic getaway on a beautifully maintained property with a private beach. Our cottage was was perfect and everyone we spoke to was very friendly! The level of care and attention to detail was clear throughout our stay. We arrived to a handwritten letter, fresh fruit, and local coffee on the counter and water and juice in the fridge. Our room was very spacious and nicely decorated by a local artist. The bed was super comfortable and the waterfall shower was perfect after a day outside. We watched the sunrise on the swings in front of the water and enjoyed the beautiful view. Other couples took out kayaks or bikes while we had coffee on the porch and talked with another guest. Island View Cottages is a special place and I am looking forward to going back soon!

Been coming to area for 20 years visiting family. Decided to get our own space for a change and remembered these cabins tucked away here. Booked a week and couldnt have been more please. From the grounds, location, upscale decor, cleanliness....everything top notch. Quiet yet close to everything. Nice to relax on the dock & use the grills and tables. We didnt partake, but they have kayaks and bikes to sign out. Pete was so nice and went out of his way to setup the fire pit and bring items to make samores on the fire! He even offered his personal bug spray. All the above, couple with outstanding friendly service, is the reason they are rated top 10% by Tripadvisor. Hands down, much better than the big loud places around. Great place, nice guests and staff! Will be back for sure.
