The employee in the deli with a very friendly when we were there in the evening. He was very patient while we took our time to figure out what we wanted. Some people have noted this location is older and needs an update, but honestly it has been updated compared to how it was years ago and it looks fine to me. I can't speak for how the rest of the employees were, but the employee in the deli I dealt with was very friendly and so was the cashier who rang us up. 2022 update: we've been here several times recently and they've always had what we needed grocery wise.

We stopped in for some of the Safeway brand ice cream. I have gotten used to paying around $3.50 for it but today it was $5. That was a disappointment. It's good ice cream, but not $5 good. The flowers just inside the door caught my eye, $10.99 for a dozen long stem roses 🌹 seemed like a pretty good deal, so I got them. As we checked out, the guy at the register wasn't very friendly, it seemed as if he was having a bad day that he wanted to share with everyone else. Overall all I couldn't give 5 stars even though I was looking for a reason to.

Great local grocery store with a huge selection of fresh and gorgeous produce. The pasta, spices, sauces, meats and cheeses also are incredible and I look forward to shopping here when I am in the area. I am a little partial though because I have been coming to this grocery store since I was a little girl (35 years!!!!). Such a wonderful neighborhood place that can be relied on for low prices and excellent items.
