This particular store is fairly small and they have a few empty cases that have been that way the last few visits. But they have a nice wine selection.

First off I love Whole Foods and I have shopped some of the best locations London, Buckhead, South Charlotte and Asheville to name a few of my favorites. This location is stripped down to a barely recognizable state, no bakery, no restaurant, no floral, no deli, no prepared foods and a hideous Amazon returns center. Lots of shopping carts scattered in the parking lot and SELF CHECK with an attendant sitting in a chair watching customers work. There are very-very few specialist or attendants or department consultants. The stockers have to be chased down and dragooned for assistance even in health and beauty. NOT WHOLE FOODS by definition. Lake Oswego is a strong middle class neighborhood and this store oddly began as a 365 low tier installation. Why Whole Foods/Amazon? Did market research tell you about the low expectations of LO or the NW? If so, your department needs culling. True that people in LO and Dunthorpe shop in their pajamas, live in jogging pants and those in their 40’s dress like an average middle schooler from 2002, but beyond the category of personal style, this is an area with cash to burn. People may look unsophisticated, but look at the Jones obsession of automobile badges, its a demographic desperate to show success through purchasing. Want great service, deli and bakery- then check out Zupans on Macadam or the new location in LO to see how willing consumers are to spend on services and upmarket extras. 365 model under any other name is STILL 365. We do not want an Amazon store or Walmart in our beautiful down town. Please make the investment for a true Whole Foods and we will reward you. Lastly, all of my favorite Whole Foods locations ask if I need help with loading my car and after numerous trips to the LO location I have never been asked once. WF/Amazon wake up and stick to the formula that made you great.

It's funny they built a 365 store (discount Whole Foods) here in the richest area for many miles around rather than in a food desert. Now it's just a regular Whole Foods, just as happy as ever to take too much of people's money.

“Cake” selection. I don’t think this store should be names Whole Foods if they don’t have cakes as they have in any other store.
