All I can say is I’m extremely satisfied with their service. Knowledgeable, friendly, and inviting. Went out of their way to help me out. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to find their new bike!

I went to this bike store without any knowledge of clipless pedals or the shoes to a company them. Employees: Will and Chase guided me to make a solid purchase. Chase even installed my clipless pedals for me free of charge. And somehow managed to sneak in a discount. If you have any questions, need any repairs, or anything whatsoever regarding your bike. I can't recommend this shop enough.

The bearded guy behind the register was a total creep. I don’t know if he was stoned or on the spectrum. Either way the whole situation was awkward. I came in to buy one item and look around. He did help me find the item I was looking for right away, but I still wanted to look around the store some more before I checked out. I guess my wish to wander around the local bike shop was offensive to him. When I finally went to checkout, he sat down in front of the register and stared into space with his hand above the keyboard, typing nothing. Not think anything of it, I waited. Then after more than a couple minutes of this I asked if he was okay. I got nothing, he just sat there with his hands above the keyboard in an awkward daze, not acknowledging my presence. The whole situation was bizarre, so I walked out without buying anything.

Great bike shop. Great guys work here. Got lucky and caught the sale but these guys know bikes and are not there to pressure you into spending more than you want to. Great experience.

I'd give them a call. If you end up needing a custom built bike, you would need to discuss it with them, anyway. They are a great group of people up there, and even if its a custom frame that would need to be built, someone can get you in contact with the appropriate builder. Vinnie, would be who I'd ask for. Hes the warehouse manager now. Just put of curiosity, I'd really like to see what you're wanting to build/ get built. I'm a bit of a collector, and love seeing bikes! Really hope this helps!
Thanks for checking with us, but we only accept used bikes as a trade in towards the purchase of a new bike.
Hey Joyce, We carry a number of different electric bikes from Specialized, Cannondale, Raleigh and Yamaha. They're all available for test riding. We also offer free delivery within the Triangle if you decide to purchase one. They're also eligible for our financing program. Stop by and we'll be glad to help you find the right bike!
They are on hwy 70 between Fred Anderson Toyota and Umstead State Park. I think rentals is somewhere around $35 to $45 a day.
Hey Colby - thanks for contacting us! Unfortunately, we have suspended all of our rental programs for the rest of the year at all of our locations. We hope to be up and running with a rental program next spring. Thanks!
They require the wear of a mask and encourage staying 6 feet apart. They are open so you may go check out their selection of bikes, bike parts, and accessories. Feel free to take a test ride on any of their bikes on the trail just around the right side of the building.
Hey Gregory - thanks for contacting us. We are not an Elby dealer. But we do stock e-bikes from Specialized, Cannondale, Santa Cruz, Yuba and Gazelle. Gazelle is going to be most like the Elby in terms of design. You can see their product line here: https://www.gazellebikes.com/en-us Let us know it you see something you like - inventory is tight right now, but we'll do our best to get the bike you're looking for. Thanks!
Hi Suzanne, we do not carry that product. You may be able to find it at ABC fitness products or Prosource Fitness Equipment!
Thanks for contacting us. If the repair is a bicycle specific repair, not related to the gasoline powered motor or its components, we may be able to help. I would recommend that you call the store and describe your repair to the service dept. They can give you a better answer. The number for the store is 919-782-1000. Thanks!
Hey Garth - thanks for contacting us. Truing a wheel usually runs around $30, but it varies based on the severity of the situation. We're currently scheduling repairs for completion by Aug. 4th. Feel free to stop by the store to get a more firm estimate, and to see if they may be able to get it done sooner Thanks!
