During an extended search for our first boat, we happened upon Petzold’s, where we were greeted by Troy. From the moment we met him, Troy was informative, patient and professional. He took the time to answer all of our questions and ensure that we were both knowledgeable buyers and also going in the right direction with our purchase based on our family’s needs. Throughout the buying process, Troy was very hands on, including for multiple test runs, the survey, and connecting us with a great Captain to train us on the boat. He made the buying process completely stress free. Now, a month after buying the boat, we could not be happier and we know that Troy and Petzold’s are major reasons why. Let me start by saying I'm not someone who writes reviews very, often, probably a handful of times in my life. I'm also a life long boater. However, I want to take this time to highly recommend Petzold's Marine Center. Not only did I have an outstanding experience when I purchased my boat from Petzold's last year, but more recently, I had the pleasure of dealing with Dominic and Tom in their service department for a few warranty items. It' a short boating season here in the Northeast, so whenever a boater has an issue , it's always an emergency in our minds, and more important than everyone else's issue. It was no different when recently I ran into a warranty issue with the trim on my engine. Concerned that I was not going to be able to use my boat, I called Petzold's to try to get it serviced ASAP. Dominic and Tom were not only highly responsive, but also incredibly accommodating to my situation. They provided a few different repair options and in the end, allowed me to choose what was most convenient and ultimately repaired my issue within 24 hours. I recognize that not every issue will be able to be fixed that fast, but I am highly confident that Petzold's will always be understanding, responsive, professional and accommodating. I highly recommend them for all of your boating needs including sales, service, parts and storage.

The parts department had both of the water pumps in stock that I needed. I could not make it there during business hours and the Marine store was able to leave in a after hours box for me to pick up. I was able to pay over the phone as well! Amazing customer service. Shoutout Seth and Dominic
