It is most definitely a well established salon. There was minimal waiting once I arrived and confirmed my appointment. Although parking is validated, I choose to park in the front with the meters for convience. Loved! Loved! my hair KellyMonica🥰

I used to be a customer of Too Groovy but due to a couple of bad experiences I will not be returning. I began going to the shop as a teenager. My stylist was Tameka, who I am still looking for so if you know which salon she is with now please respond to this review. At any rate, my stylist as a teenager was Tameka and she was excellent. After she left the salon I tried a couple of other stylists before leaving to go elsewhere. One of the stylists I tried was David, who gave me heat damage and left sores on my scalp because the flat iron was too hot. After that experience I stopped going to the salon for years, afraid of another similar incident. Recently I decided to try them again. The stylist I used was fine . My issue this time around was the fact that they raised their prices and did not inform me when I booked the appointment. A shampoo and blow dry used to cost about $30 to $35 dollars, it now costs about $50. I had been going for some weeks consistently. One week I went and the price was $35, a few weeks later I went again and I was hit with a $20 upcharge out of NOWHERE. And I was not told while booking that the normal price that I would expect had changed. That really rubbed me the wrong way so I will not be returning.
