I chose this dentist due to the good Google reviews and proximity to my house, so I wanted to leave an updated review for people like myself who check these things. I went here for 2 years and continually gave them the benefit of the doubt - despite a painful first visit (first dentist I had was very rough, so I switched to another one), a visit where the hygienist shoved the x-ray mouthpiece in my mouth so that I threw up a little in my mouth, and he didn't notice), etc. Finally this year I decided to find a new dentist after she told me that I needed 3 fillings, without even taking an x-ray at my visit! She condescendingly told me that I had needed them since my last visit 6 months prior and that I had not made an appt - which seems like it should be the receptionist's job at that visit, also, I feel like I would have remembered her telling me I needed 3 fillings, 2 on one side/1 on the other! Also suspicious is the fact that she was looking at my chart and told me I had missed a visit... 'oh wait, no, it was your husband who missed a visit'....My husband who JUST had 3 fillings recently, 2 on one side/1 on the other..... I got a second opinion - my new dentist didn't see any need for fillings, but did mention that Pearla hadn't taken the forwarded x-rays correctly, since they didn't show the roots of the teeth. Also, after 2 years of asking Pearla to refer me to get new retainers/mouthguards, my new dentist was able to make a mold immediately at my visit and got them to me within a week. Worth noting however, the receptionist mentioned that Pearla just got new owners, two new dentists. So perhaps things will improve. Always check the most recent reviews!

Everybody was very friendly and welcoming. It was my first time visiting i gave it a 3 star because i never had gone to a dentist that does a cleaning in 10 min max. They barely did anything to my teeth. I was very upset as it had really good reviews on this place.

I really haven't had any good experiences at any dentist's office, but this one made the difference. Since day 1 they made me feel very comfortable. The service is excellent. The staff is very caring and attentive. The prices are very fair.
