Unless it's true emergency and it would be dangerous to go the added distance to GMC, I personally find the Peachtree Intermediate Care facilities very competent and give quicker and better service. The only issue is they're only open from 8am to 8pm so if you can't see your regular doctor or it's a weekend I highly recommend them instead of EMC ER.

Totally agree, Never experienced or expected a level of service in a USA hospital. Compared to third world country they lack infrastructure but the empathy and service is very heartfelt. The famous word here at piedmont by the nurse " I am not her nurse just filling in" why she entered the patients room? I am working with secretary of health to bring in undercover agents to evaluate the place.

Unless your wife or your child actually was harmed in a way that you can demonstrate it will be hard to get a lawyer to take the case. If that's the case you could file a case with the state licensing agency against the nurse and the hospital as well as complain to the hospital administration. Either way I hope your wife and child are okay.

No. You can only get an MRI from a spine doctor when you have had back pain for a minimum of 3 years and have tried many alternatives to fixing the pain with no luck and have completed a minimum of a months of physical therapy. For my alternatives I used chiropractic care and massage therapy.

Took 4 hours on a Sunday morning for a broken rib. Saw me fairly quick but took 2.5 hours to get my x-rays read. Never again..and crowded with people with the flu ! Really needed to be exposed to that. Luckily I don't get the flu.
