Steak 'n Shake

Food was pretty good. We hadn't had steak n shake in years! Be prepared to place your own order..they have kiosks..credit/debit/cash. Caught the two of us off-guard but we can read so we were ok. The place was clean, not too busy and we arrived about 2:00. One order of fresh hot fries, one order of onion rings, one double burger and one single burger, one shake and unsweet tea for $22...fries& rings were small size. Everything going up!🥰

The food is always great at any Steak and Shake. The self order kiosks make the restaurants boring and lifeless. I used to love the buzz of a packed house. Kinda sad.

We visited about 4days ago, it was the worst service, the food was thrown together, the fries were cold the tea was sour , HUGE waste of money, will NEVER eat there again,

Last post I liked and enjoyed their food. But I've been going and the hamburger tastes like it's frozen and you know that Frozen you cook it and I still has that watery taste to it and makes it the meat taste Raw. Plus the hamburger was cold it would seem hot so I don't know how long it's been sitting. The french fries don't taste the same now. It's like whoever's cooking isn't cooking from the heart is cooking because he has he or she has a job and that's not a good way to cook.
