After waiting for three months to be seen for a chronic problem, they canceled my appointment three hours prior with no explanation. It’s been a week and no one has contacted me to reschedule. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time here.

Ascension Saint Thomas houses orthopedic surgeon, David H McCord, was banned, forbidden from operating in Tristar Centennial/HCA hospital for his dangerous practices on patients but corrupt St Thomas still gives him a home to harm patients. McCord also lost his license in the state of Kentucky. According to St Thomas "our surgeons only operate here, they are not employed by us." Even though St Thomas Ascension admin is fully aware that there are dangerous and unnecessary surgeries taking place in their hospitals, they "do not feel this is their responsibility." BEWARE before you trust this dangerous hospital. I am not the only victim and some aren't here to tell their stories.

Ascension Medical Group Saint Thomas Midtown | Sep 22, 2020

When you need care more immediately and your regular doctor isn’t available, you may be trying to decide between Express Care or an emergency room. For life-threatening emergencies and serious illness or injury, such as shortness of breath, chest pain, open fractures or severe bleeding, go to an emergency room. When you need care for minor illness or injury, such as allergies, fevers, cuts without severe bleeding that may need stitches or a severe sore throat, and your doctor isn’t available, seek Express Care. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, go directly to the ER or dial 9-1-1.
