I've only written one other Google review before, but I recently had quite an unbelievable experience here. Our dog has been a patient there for a little over a year now and he developed a heart murmur in the last year so he's been getting an echocardiogram performed on him annually. We were told we'd hear back in a few days from the doctor, which was the case the last time too. The echo was performed on July 19th and we hadn't heard back about the results by August 11th so I called their office and Dr. Stephanie Liff, who proudly described herself as the medical director got back to me with his results. The results unfortunately yielded bad news for our dog and he now requires daily medication, which I will totally cop to contributing to my sensitivity. When I asked her why we hadn't heard back from anyone about the results, especially if it was time sensitive, she said that she "didn't realize she had a 'result pending.'" and that if we are awaiting results and haven't heard back to just call them. When I pointed out that she was just describing the situation we were currently in and asked for further clarification, she said back to me verbatim, "I have hundreds of test results that need my attention and you just have one dog." I couldn't believe what I had heard. I was stunned by her callousness. I am in the hospitality business and can wholly empathize with the frustration when you are slammed and can first hand understand the demands of a busy office. But she should never throw it back to a patient like this especially when delivering bad news. We've already switched vets because of this interaction. My purpose for writing this is not to simply trash this vet office because we felt slighted this one time. I do sincerely hope the doctor sees this message and uses this feedback to not repeat this mistake and that it stops her from saying outlandishly inappropriate things to anyone else. I have no ill will towards her and can only speak to her bedside manner (or lack thereof) in this one instance. But if this is the type of thing she says to her patients, she has no business being in a patient/customer facing position.

Vets seem very good. Diagnosed my dog's cancer, and prescribed medication that's extended his life a year or so.

Have been going to pure paws for about 7 years (will not be returning) and ever since Dr. Stephanie Liff has become the primary vet for my cat I have felt dismissed and my concerns disregarded. She seems to have trouble listening and displaying any sort of empathy for her patients and doesn’t respond to messages unless its a day after our consultation to write complaints about me on my cats record. Also had to remind her that they never contacted me or provided results for tests which she then proceeded to exit the room only to send in the nurse to dismiss me. Seems mostly concerned with the bottom line and not the well being of my cat.

Always responsive and caring. I appreciate the time and attention my dog receives from the staff.

They do accept muffins certificate.
They do provide medications, but you can often find cheaper options online.
I think it would be best to call them up and inquire. Prices can vary.
Costs vary depending upon the service you need. Pure Paws is pretty comparable to other vets and they will work to review costs on more complex issues.
Its like $56 alone to see the doctor and they most likely going to want to do blood work that's $100 and change.
They are very reasonable and work with you if your pet happens to be a rescue it's a plus
Prices vary.... But can range from 100 to 200 bucks that's including any other fees or blood work or stool sample etc.. Again prices vary, so ball park figure is between$100 to $200 give or take
I agree. For the past 5 years Dr. Liff has taken care of my dog and she is great.
If you are a regular they will try to work with you. It is not a standard payment plan.
They will give you the name of a group that groom's cats. They only give a first dose of earmite infection meds. They had an insurance policy that could help with the cost of cat meds. My daughter used it for a year snd said it was worthwhile if you had a sick cat.
I don't think they do
You'll have to find a vet to take him to if he's not eating. Or maybe you can research the aspca trucks, they offer low cost health care. Hope your car gets better!
