By far the best hospital I've been to, great staff and terrific care.

Lol so I was a patient in the AB1 north unit from like June 2021-August (on and off) and I must say, I loved everything moment of it. If any of the staff so happens to remember me, I miss yβall very much π€πΌπͺπΌ. Iβm doing good now

McLean has a fully accredited high school program.
I'm not sure, but you can call them and ask. I hope that was helpful.
I can't see a reason why McLean would not be able to take someone with these kinds of physical limitations. I would suggest you look at their website to identify which program might be a good fit, and then call them directly to ask for more information.
Yes. There are a few inpatient units for people with depression and anxiety. Firstly, thereβs a unit called AB1, or the Short Term Unit (βthe STUβ). There is a STU south and a STU north. Additionally, a general adult psychiatric unit, North Belknap 1 (NB1) opened in October 2020. NB1 also specializes in med stabilization for anxiety and mood disorders.
Not in an inpatient psych setting
When a relative was in he couldnβt bring anything with a camera due privacy concerns (other patients).

Absolutely. McLean accepts Medicare and MassHealth.

They do accept Medicare for their inpatient programs, but I donβt believe they have a pain management program. Johns Hopkins Hospital (in Baltimore) has a program specific for pain management and they also take Medicare. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/psychiatry/specialty_areas/pain/patient_information/inpatient.html
Since my niece is there now inpatient and on mass health, I think they do.
Some units keep your phone for at least the first 24hrs.
There is no waiting list, unless for a specific program like The Hill Center. If you are trying to get in, the best thing to do is call admissions on Monday morning. That's the best chance of getting a bed. They rarely discharge on weekends.
There are regular workout times and there is an exercise bike on the unit
No. There is no wholistic cure for bipolar illness. Medication is the only option st this time.
