And he interjects just the right amount of humor to help keep things in their proper perspective and put you at ease. Port St. Lucie Hospital is lucky to have him.

No. Not at the PSL Hospital, but call we have a new treatment center in the St. Cloud area that may take Aetna.
You're allowed to bring 6 of each items of clothing. So 6 pairs of socks, 6 shirts ect.. None of your clothing can have draw strings in them, and I think hoodies & jackets with actual hoods are not allowed. Personally I recommend bringing comfortable clothes. You are allowed to smoke cigarettes there, so bring enough for your stay. I think you get like 7 smokes a day. Also DO NOT allow others to "borrow" your smokes. They go fast if you allow that. Be assertive about it. I also recommend bringing a book or two. Puzzle books, word search books ect. Maybe a deck of cards, or dice to keep you occupied during down time. However you are not allowed any personal writing utensils, those will be provided for you. Make a phone list of the people you want to keep in contact with. They don't allow you access to you cell phone unless its necessary.There is a patient phone provided on each unit. That's pretty much it that I can think of. I'm not an employee, but I have been there a few times

Crisis care services are also available for patients in acute crisis who require immediate assistance in a secure and structured environment.
