My Duval dealer offered me the maintenance package with my purchase, and I got it. This would have been a good decision for you.
Very expensive I remember one day I was over there at the car dealership and this guy needed one pair of keys because he only have one they were charging him $200 with the remote and everything

No, they dont diagnose unless they do the repair. What i would do is take it in to get a trade estimate and let them diagnose the problem on the basis of trade value because youre "looking for a new car".
If you go ti ford they would be able to get you a key made.
Everything is megotiable with management. They may buy it back. They may require some cash as well if you owe more than its worth.
