Great Yurt camping experience. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The extra experiences like zip lining and the challenge course are a bit spendy, but fun. The escape room was well put together.

First of all my hat is off to the staff. This is a great campground it could seem to be a little spendy until you compare their pricing to similar places. We stayed in a teepee although they have several ways to accommodate you from yurts to tent camping. the activities are well planned and supervises (once again great staff.) The camping spaces are extra large. The ZIP lines were creative and our guides went out of their way to make it extra fun. (Once again great staff.) Pizza delivered to your teepee? You bet. Firewood delivery you got it. What I've been trying to say is why haven't you booked your adventure trip, the fun is there just waiting for you.

Your experience at Camp Dakota is really contingent on your expectations. The main attraction is a campground with lots of activities. They really do not do anything well and their appeal is they have all the activities at one place. For example, if you want to just paintball there are much better places to do just that. Same with all their activities. But where can you go as a family and do all the activities at one time. With that said, everything there is expensive. If you consider it like a vacation and not camping you will have much better expectations of cost. A family of 4 can easily spend 600-1000 for a weekend depending on what you do and what type of site you stay at. The campground and activities are pretty spread out and sits on a hill so lots of hiking. If you are used to tent camping then you will be fine with the cabins/yurts. They are rustic and have a very small pad to sleep on. Most do not have electricity and are very difficult to heat.

Where to start! My boyfriend and I chose this camp for our first camping trip together as well as either of our first trips in almost a decade! We are so glad to have found this little gem!! If I had to choose a favorite camp employee I would say KIWI 🥝 all the way! If you decide to go zip lining she's the absolute best! However, over all the staff was wonderful and helpful. We did just about everything to do but I suggest the zip line, the mystery room, and the treasure hunting the most! You guys are seriously killing it! Thank you very much for a fantastic week. The Duffy group will be back.. and we're bringing ALL OUR BUGS WITH US SO WATCH OUT! 🤗🤗🤗

There sites for tents, yurts and teepees... no specific spot for RVs but I'm syre they fit at each site... I was there this weekend
I have Verizon and I got enough service to text around the day area
The cost for additional overnight parking is $7.00 per night. Vehicles should be parked at the campsite. Call for more details regarding specific site parking size.
We had spent memorial day week there. Its pretty quiet on the week days. Id say the only thing worth it there was the paint ball. And the yurt was better than a tent. Just make sure you get one close to the paint ball area. Cause its quite a walk all the time.
There is no age discrimination at Camp Dakota. Where is that coming from? Camp Dakota is a family campground an hosts guests of all ages. FYI Camp Dakota has no control over what people put in their reviews or their opinions that they post online.
I will assume you said dogs and yes dogs are allowed but to be maintained on a leash
Pets are allowed on a leash!
We got a yurt and they had a propane grill ready to grill
Not right now.
There are but you can't fish there and the water is very merky
There is no fishing at this camp site and no swimming either. There might be places to go do those things near by.
You're not allowed to swim. It's pretty stagnant water. Not safe. Nearest swimming is miles down the road towards town.
For yurt reservations you have 14 days prior to your arrival date to reschedule with only a $5 change fee. New dates subject to availability and current pricing. Call or email the camp directly.
Yes.
Yed and there's a grill depending on how big your campsite is.
Tent :) and thank you for the quick answers
No . Camp Dakota provides the propane as long as your getting a grill and not a pit.
