24 hours, the prepared meals are horrible and pastries are stale. $$$

The amount of times I have opened something to discover mold is too many. I've had it. The veggies go bad quick. Prepared food I've bought & brought home to discover mold (sandwiches/ pasta) . Last week I bought cheddar and the next day when I took the plastic off it was moldy and smelled of sour milk. Immediate trash and waste of money. Even pickles I've bought have turned bad in a week. Pickles!? It's open 24hrs and the lines move fast. Those are the pros. 50% of items have actual price tags on it & it's often marked up multiple times (photo is from a can bought in Feb22) Well before inflation. It's known among neighbors they are overpriced and to be avoided if you can.

Amazed at the prices at this place - they were already high and now they go up every month. Love the responses to reviews from Westside Markets that have no relevance to what the reviewers have said. Bottom line - they take full advantage of a lack of close competition, considering the same exact products they sell are about 20% cheaper at Whole Foods (which is notoriously expensive) and about 35% cheaper at Trader Joes. Worth walking the 4 blocks. GREEDY!!!!
