Dropped off prescription at 9:30am. They said it would be ready by 11am. I arrive at 12:55pm and at 1:18 after being on a long car line for over 20 minutes they tell me someone should have called me (no one did) to inform me they don’t take my insurance, United Healthcare. I’ve had the same insurance for 2 years and have only used this very same pharmacy which is a block away from my job. I told them it’s impossible that they don’t accept my insurance. She ran my insurance again and lo and behold, it went through with zero issues. They told me to come back in 15 minutes. I said no, I’ll wait right there in the car line. After 5 minutes they now tell me the pharmacist is on break and I’ll have to come by later. Absolute waste of my time. They verified my phone number so they can call me when it’s ready. Guess what? They have my correct phone number. Yet they couldn’t call me to tell me they don’t accept my insurance… which they do. PLEASE FIRE THESE INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES!

I was absolutely impressed with this location. It appears to be brand new. The customer service of both the pharmacy and front cashiers were very pleasant. I love that this is a new location , very spacious and had everything I need!

Walgreens got a new card machine. I asked which way to insert the card. (It is upside down on the chip side). The cashier told me “you have the Wi-Fi signal. You can just tap. Anyway to make people more lazy”. I know how card machines work.. I wanted to learn the insert the chip, upside down machine too. It’s new.
