I am so grateful to Dr. Stein and her help and guidance in helping me relieve my gut and psychological symptoms. I suffered from sever depression, anxiety, ADHD and other vague physical symptoms that I was always told were "normal" for me. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Stein of Functional Mind! I came to see her due to experiencing dramatically increased heart rate throughout the day. I saw many specialists who could not determine the cause of the problem or offer any direction to improve the condition. I had also been suffering migraines and hormonal imbalances for years. We do not accept any insurance including Medicare, but we do provide a superbill which you can submit for reimbursement for all insurances except Medicare. Our website explains why. Please call the office or visit the website for fees as they vary.

Hello Marina, I’m sorry but we do not take any insurance as we are not providers for any insurances and we have opted out of Medicare. You may use medical savings accounts and we provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for re-imbursement if you have out-of-network benefits. We decided to do this because insurance companies don’t pay for the time we take to get to know you. We spend a great deal of time with you in person and our own time sorting through the data you provide before and then after meeting with you to create a treatment plan that is specific for your health issues. Some day we hope that insurance companies will see the value of functional medicine and change their model but right now it’s still the old model. It is fast becoming the model for treating chronic health issues. We are part of the mission to change the face of healthcare.
