This little park is fantastic. The playground is so much fun and there is a nice little walking trail that goes around the place. There is a volleyball net and basketball court there too so kids of all ages can have fun. There is a hidden gem there too, one of those little libraries is right beside the bench at the playground!

Great park for all ages. A playground geared towards younger kids. A pavilion with bathrooms (bathrooms close for the season in the Fall). They have a ballpark, volleyball, trails and plenty of space to run around.

Great little playground for toddlers and you get children. There are baseball ⚾ fields, basketball courts, and even a volleyball court as well.

Questions & Answers

I really like the basketball court and the rims but I think fence should be built around the court or at least protect the ball from going into the bushes.

I agree with this. I spend a lot of time here and there are balls that are often lost in the woods because there arent borders.

Where in Niskayuna or it's surroundings do you find very good basketball players on the court and in their numbers?

The park is on River Road behind Mario's Restaurant. The basketball court (there is only one court) is not used all that often. Kids with parents and teens mainly use the court for practice. Sometimes, when the pavilion is rented, there might be an actual game. The one court is in decent shape but no nets on the rims.
