As a Hospitality Consultant focused on Customer Service Excellence, I must say that the staff at XV Beacon are truly EXCEPTIONAL and ONE of A KIND! From the second you step out of the car and towards the double door, you are greeted by friendly professionals who truly know the meaning of customer service and going the extra mile to deliver on the WOW factor. Valentine and Mark who were kind to drive us to different activities we had, not only were extremely professional, courteous, and careful in the way they drove, but very knowledgeable of the history of the area providing us with a tour of the nearby historical buildings and streets, making the ride luxurious and educational :-) What a treat! My husband had stayed here before and knowing that my niche is Boutique Hotels assured me I would enjoy my stay (let's be honest, being a hotelier myself and conducting mystery shops to evaluate levels of service at hotels and resorts has made me extremely demanding and jaded...especially in today's market where it is almost impossible to find reliable personnel..., but he was 100% right! From now on whenever we are in the Boston area, XV will be our home away from home + the luxurious service. And let's not forget the rooms and its decor matches the same luxurious, pampering service. The world recedes the minute the doors open at XV Beacon. After months of Covid tension and anxiety, returning to my home away from home at XV Beacon put me immediately at ease. A sticker on my hotel room door noted my room had been sanitized and swept with UV light, remotes had been sanitized too. I slept better than I have in years not only because of the deluxe amenities, plush towels and "just right" bed but because, as a single older woman traveling alone, I felt completely taken care of within this historic but handsome hotel. The shower in even the smallest room is so divine I took two showers each day. And did I mention the best Caesar salad in the world is to be had at Mooo, the hotel's restaurant. I mean, you even want to eat the croutons--all of them! As for the hotel staff, I can't say enough good things about them. They are broadly knowledgeable and couldn't be more genuine in their warmth and friendliness. They seem to really enjoy their positions. I absolutely could go to Boston just to stay at this hotel. (But don't tell my Bostonian friends.)

My friends and I stayed at Beacon XV in October 2021, and without a doubt this is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in within the USA! I was impressed by just about everything: the comfort of the rooms, the decorations, the ambiance, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the cleanliness, and the quality of the food. The location of Beacon XV is perfect for exploring Boston and I enjoyed being so close to so many tourist attractions while also being close to public transit to explore the greater Boston area. I could not recommend Beacon XV enough, and would gladly stay there again should my travels take me to Boston for another getaway!

This small hotel has a lot to offer. Fine dining, excellent service and beautiful rooms, not to mention the great car service for trips around town. It is a winner!
