Bottom line: Beautiful apartments, good location, but definitely pricey for Providence. Would have given it 5 stars if not for the shared laundry which is a significant issue. Pros: Amenities (2 gyms and pool), convenient location, tall ceilings, outdoor garden with barbecues, rooftop lounge with fire pit, friendly staff, garage parking. Cons: Cost and shared laundry. Shared laundry is a MAJOR issue, especially on weekends. The machines frequently break and take a while to be repaired because they are owned by a third party. If the machines break or eat your money, good luck getting any help with it. When you tell the staff they will tell you "sorry there is nothing we can do because it is owned by a third party". Also, neighbors won't hesitate to toss your laundry aside to take your machine if you are not there the second your load finishes.

Angelo was so patient with all my questions and very responsive throughout the entire rental process. In fact, everyone I've met with at the concierge desk and in the leasing office has been super friendly and helpful. This made my final decision to move into Halstead very easy!
