It’s a small museum but with great exhibitions. There is one small acrylic Rothko painting. I wasn’t familiarized with his acrylic work so it was interesting to see it.

Small, well run and organized. No offense to Katonah but I didn't find enough around there to justify a 30 minute drive.

I went to visit the museum today. Yes, it says on the website that they’re STILL requiring masks, which in the arts is unfortunately still be required at a few institutions. I don’t have masks anymore because it’s May ‘22. This museum charges money for disposable masks!!!! After dealing with the obviously judgmental gallery attendant, I’ve been permanently put off from this place. The last time I visited the artwork was mediocre at best. I hope for more tolerance from art institutions, but they all seem to only welcome visitors who have points of view that align with theirs.

Very small (4 rooms and a courtyard), but the exhibits were memorable and well-curated. Certainly worth checking out if you’re spending the day in Katonah.

Hi Sarah, thanks for contacting the KMA. I'm sorry to say that the exhibition is sold out.
If you are asking if people go in for free, than yes, if you arw asking something other than that I don't know what you mean
Also, some libraries have free passes to this museum, if you have a library card.
