Really enjoyed the visit to Ohio Village. I enjoyed talking to the docents and reenactors.

No. But there is a blacksmith open normally during special events
Yes! The museum is always open Wednesday-Sunday 10am-5pm. Ohio Village is also open during those hours Memorial Day-Labor Day. The State Archives are open same hours but Wednesday-Saturday.
Kids 3 and under are free! Youth aged 4-12 are $9 and 13+ are 15. Memberships are really affordable though. For $65 you can get your two adults and all children under 18 in, plus come back throughout the year as many times as you want! If you have a family of four it pays for itself in two visits.
Funny you mention the village. When we went to the museum my husband and I didn't know about the village outside. They are both included in the price of museum.
Yes you can. It is right inside the front door
They probably took them out to make more money from the cafe
As long as you want to spend on each exhibit. I would say two hours would be a good guesstimate.
It's not free but it's super kid friendly. They have a lot of interactives
You’re thinking of the Columbus Arts museum
There used to be a mummy. They are doing research on her , so she is off display. You can read about the research here: https://www.ohiohistory.org/learn/collections/archaeology/archaeology-blog/2012/june-2012/ohio-historical-society-mummy-to-be-studied-with-h
You would need to contact them directly. Also consider contacting your nearest library.
Parking is always free. Admission is free today only for "The Big Explore."
Yes they do! And items from the Adena and Fort Ancient people
I became a member but can't find a card. Not sure if i misplaced it. What color is it?
I was able to take pictures of everything in there. Make sure anything that you photograph is done with the flash off if the display requests it.
No. The ohio village is a part of the entrance fee, and may I say the undertaker is a real fun guy. Be sure to stop in and ask some questions.
$10 per person. They have memberships if you go often that are worth buying.
