I would give this place -5 stars if I could! The executive director is not a nice person at all! They call it "The Jewel Of Trumbull" that it is not I would advise anyone from moving to this place if something in the apartment breaks expect years for them to get it correct (or maybe never or have to spend your own money to fix it!). They are pricing them selves out of the game (specifically with their attitude toward residents) you can get a bigger (and ran by people who know how to run a housing authority not like the workers here) for the same or not much more money. So I would go elsewhere this is not a good environment at all. Avoid at all costs find somewhere else! I also advise no body to donate anything to them! They got some computers donated by CES years back and also some new signs for where the units are located well the computers were used for like a year and ended up in the scrap metal pile as well as some of the signs that were custom made for them.

Not for a person who is 62 and up and don't drive must have a car or you will only shop when they go or spend money like crazy on cabs and check to see if your able to go to all your medicals. My mother lived there boy is she glad to be out she is a. Person that like to move around not sit around.

Hi Kim, you must be 62 at the time you apply. If your husband is disabled, he can qualify. We only send out applications when provided a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Go to www.sternvillage.com for application.
When I applied for section 8, I had to go on line and when the waiting list was open I applied. Now that was 5 years ago so I'm not sure if the procedure is still the same. Good Luck!!!

My understanding this complex do not have two bedrooms. They have studio or 1 bedroom. Go to there website and click on Application under menu. It should tell you when there application opens.
