My daughter always has the absolute best time at the MGA classes. They are always so accommodating, and have an incredible schedule for working parents too, which I appreciate. Best money I ever spent!

I signed my child up for MGA tumble bees class (ages 3-4), thankfully before her first official class I asked to do a trial. I’m so glad I did because what I saw during the class was a waste of money! There were way to many kids in a class with only one instructor. The kids weren’t engaged and neither was the instructor, there was absolutely no structure and kids were leaving the group falling off of equipment it was a mess. The waiting area and gym seemed cramped with outdated equipment, even the parents looked bored watching their kids. I pulled them out and opted for FGA (Farmingdale gymnastics) I could not be happier! My child is flourishing, the gym is huge they have two teachers per class and everything is very structured while giving them the proper tools and attention they need at this age, they even have the kids sanitize between each station. Sorry MGA needs to step up their game, parents want their moneys worth!

My granddaughter went there in her winter break. She was very happy with the recreational activities.

It’s ok. We take both our kids here since our first was 18 months. Our oldest is now in tumble bees. We’ve tried a few of the different instructors for this class and quite frankly unless you have Emily, it’s a waste of money. The coaches aren’t engaged with these girls. They look bored and if they could be scrolling on their phone while they were in there with these girls, they would be and don’t really coach the girls. Just set them up on a circuit and leave them to their own devices. Emily on the other hand is very engaged with them, animated and genuinely looks happy to be there. She will smile, laugh and chat with the girls. We keep sending our daughter because she seems to smile, but I’m starting to get to the point where I might pull her. It’s a lot of money and I don’t see any improvements. We also have something like 6 make up classes due to illness or family obligations that we can never seem to use. They won’t let you use as class credit and you can’t unenroll and use the make ups you have left. So you’re stuck trying to schedule these when the only available classes are the ones no one wants because it’s during the school/work day. 🙄

We have Open Play for ages 3-5 on Saturday 12:15-1:15 pm. It's $5 per child. If you have a 2 year old though, you should call and schedule a Free Trial Class in one of our Parent Participation classes.

Is it a good gymnastic gym?
