Many family members camp at a nearby campground and frequent the restaurant many times during our stay. Most the time our experience is very good. However, on our last visit we had a bad experience with the newest owner. My mother got her usual breakfast but it was lacking most of the vegetables that are normally in it such as mushrooms tomatoes and peppers. When they asked how the food was she told the owner this. So, instead of even looking at my mother's plate to see that she wasn't lying to him, he walks off and comes back stating he looked at the cameras in the kitchen and the veggies were in there ...they were just cut very small......must have been cut so small as to not be seen with human eyes. My mom is upset but let's this go. Then when we get the bill we are charged for a extra coffee. When my mother goes up to pay the bill she mentions this and again the owner disagrees with her.....seriously go look at the table with 3 coffee cups not 4 on it. He belittles my mother and says I'll give you $2 out of my pocket even though the cost was more then that. I am giving a 4 out of 5 rating because the food in general was good and the waitress was nice and cheerful. I would give a 0 if it was based on the the owners customer service skills....he shouldn't.own an establishment if he doesn't have any.

We waited patiently on the porch for a table, as a group of 25 were seated inside and waiting on their orders. Many people came and went not willing to wait. After 35-40 minutes, we were shown to a table. Our orders were taken and literally took less than 10 min to arrive. The food was piping hot and delicious!! Overall we were there an hour which isn't unreasonable for a Sunday morning. The staff worked hard to stay pleasant and not stressed even though dealing with impatient people and handling an emergency when an ambulance arrived to help someone having difficulty breathing. So many places are short staffed these days and we were very impressed with how things were handled Thank you so much, our breakfast was worth the wait!!

Very nice atmosphere…and a good looking menu. I had the biscuits & gravy platter. The food was very disappointing. The eggs and bacon were cold…the biscuits and gravy was luke warm. The gravy was thick and pasty. Biscuits were burned on the bottom. I would not go back nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

This local restaurant is absolutely phenomenal from the vibrant owners to the home-feel food! It is a must go place for anyone passing through. Couldn’t recommend more. They also have the best Friday Fish Fry around in my opinion; my stomach is sensitive to grease and had no issue there! You couldn’t support a better pair who put community first and truly care about the whole experience of their restaurant.
