I visited this church 13 years ago and I loved the gospel mass, I left there completely moved.
On this last trip I came back and it had nothing to do with it, the gospel mass was sung by a single man and two accompanying instrumentally. They pass the brush about twice during the mass and this time it didn't seem like a gospel mass.

We were looking for a not too touristy gospel mass in the heart of Harlem, it was perfect, warm welcome, not too long and super pleasant.
