The Carlton Arms of Ocala has been one of the best complexes I've had the pleasure of staying with. It is definitely home for me. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and overall fantastic folks to talk to. If you have an issue or a maintenance needs they are right there to fix it. The apartments, roads, grass, and pools are well kept. With Security at the community entrance it feels even safer and comfortable. I wish I could stay but I have to leave. Its been a pleasure staying with The Carlton Arms.

Carlton Arms apartment has security that is spose to monitor parking area's for the residents and don't. Carlton Arms is allowing 3/4 people to have parking permits to park in front of the building that live in the same residents which I was told you could not have more then 2 cars to each apartment. How are residents that have kids having to park and walk a hole apartment complex down from there residents to get from and to there vehicles daily. Does not make sense. This is not recommended to anyone with kids.

There are no assigned parking spaces. All parking is first come, first serve. All residents have parking decals that allow them to park in front of the buildings. We do have carports and garages available for rent.
All units have carpet and vinyl tile; some of the downstairs units have vinyl plank flooring.

The rents listed online are base prices. The rents are determined by location on the property. Some apartments have additional lakefront premiums.

You must register as a new user and follow the instructions to submit your payment. There is no service charge to submit your payment using the E-check option.
Pet #1 Deposit $300 (refundable, pending damages) Pet #2 Deposit $100 (refundable, pending damages) MONTHLY PET RENT – $20 per pet for the duration of the pet’s residency Temporary and/or visiting pets are not allowed. We accept only dogs, cats, birds and fish. No exotic pets, rodents, reptiles, etc. allowed. Two animal limit per apartment. Breed restrictions apply.
Monthly rent includes water, standard cable TV, quarterly pest control, valet trash removal and all amenities.
There are NO application or administrative FEES. Credit review, employment and residency verifications and criminal background reviews are conducted by a third party company after you have submitted a completed application. You must provide current proof of monthly income at least 3x of the monthly rent of your selected apartment. $250 security deposit is required.
Water is free but you pay for sewer. The amount of water that goes down the drain.

They leave a key in your mailbox. There are four of five large boxes that they put your package in that the key fits.

I see snakes there all the time. I just ignore them but for childrens sake call front office and ask for assistance.
I think it doesn't matter what you use the facility for, as long as it is legal. I do not see why they wouldn't allow an outside wedding on the lawn or lakeside.
They only offer spectrum and it sucks. Especially if you are in phase 2. Your internet will never be what they offer.
