Since Sept., 2001, we have suspended all direct assistance outside the United States. All residents of the USA may apply for assistance by mailing the application form on the website with all requested attachments. Poor an d needy people outside the USA should apply to any of the multiple better endowed Islamic organizations giving money outside the U.S.

As-salamu alaikum! In regard to your recent inquiry, this is to inform you that the Islamic American Zakat Foundation's primary mission is to assist Muslims in America. We are a tiny organization and do not have the capacity to guarantee compliance with American laws restricting foreign assistance. IF YOU DO RESIDE IN THE UNITED STATES, you must print out our standard application form at https://www.iazf.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/applic.pdf, fill it out completely, and mail it by US Post to our mailing address with a copy of bills with which you would like our help and a copy of your picture ID. We must have original ("wet") signatures for both your references. If you need us to mail you a copy of the application form, please give us your complete US postal address. Jazakum Allah al-khair!
