After an…undesirable dinner experience around the corner, I found a good old fashioned BAR. Had the local baseball game playing (Sorry Nats, I know you tried), great tap, and company was friendly. I showed up alone just to check it out and I stayed for a few rounds. This the perfect hangout for Happy Hour and for watching games. One of my favorite "dive bars" of all time (and I've been around for 50+ years). The food is tasty and I appreciate the daily specials. Drinks are on point and I like the local beer selection. Service is always professional, friendly, and prompt. The crowd is diverse - between the regulars, local businesses and tourists; which always makes each visit interesting. John and Bob are great guys and take an active role in the daily operations, making sure to make everyone feel comfortable and enjoy themselves. Emilio, Stephanie, and Justin are terrific too. Absolutely my "go-to" local joint from years past and years to come.

First time going there being from Pennsylvania I thought I tried it out and boy it was totally delicious everything was so good I couldn’t finish it all. Everyone there was so wonderful and kind and I really appreciate the service definitely come back again probably for hockey game or too I do feel bad though that I’m a penguins fan lol but it okay I’m still coming back thank again The Barking Dog every single one get five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
