Stay there for like at night use their address to obtain a Florida ID because I needed one for employment and to get my car registered among other essential things a $1,200 stimulus check was mailed to this address I did not receive my check it should have never went to this address to begin with but whoever handles the mail at that facility let it fall into bad hands or cashed it themselves so the people better supposed to help me ended up screwing me in a time of need.

I was at the Immokalee Friendship House for a little over a month. While living at this facility, I was working in a hospital and Catalina(my case worker)told another worker that I would contract the coronavirus and spread it to everyone at the shelter. There is so much miscommunication among the case workers that it's unprofessional. For example, I relayed the information to my case worker(Catalina)that I will be going to work on a particular day, she had the schedule information and place of address. Later in the night, I get a call at work from another case worker asking about my whereabouts. Some residents get special treatment over others. I vented to myself and overheard Mark(manager of the facility)say that I was venting to someone on the phone(that was not true). But it's the norm there, the workers make up whatever lie they want and say it's fact and truth. The case workers at these facilities are not equipped to handle individuals with mental disorders. My roommate at this facility, had mental disorders and it was addressed after I made it obvious to my case worker (Catalina). I feared for my safety, I take individuals with mental disorders seriously but that wasn't the case of the residents/staff at the St. Matthews Friendship House in Naples, FL. This happened August 2020, Kenneth R. Tannassee, 28, killed a woman in the parking lot of a Home Depot in East Naples. The woman killed was a St. Matthews Friendship House resident of Naples, FL. The killer was also a St. Matthews House resident of Naples, FL. This place is not worth going to/living in.
