Beautiful Florida wilderness at its best. Such a beautiful well keep area to spend quality time outdoors and learned a bunch about the watershed from all the signage and information. We saw plenty of birds and rabbits this trip. We are planning on more trips here for the future! Thank you for this beautiful area!

Had such a lovely time exploring these trails. The educational signs and components were very high quality, and we saw lots of wildlife! (Mostly birds). I recommend going early in the morning and packing plenty of water.

Peaceful walk.

As we pulled up we saw many wading birds. The trail is bike able, and about 12 miles as I understand the map. However, we hiked in a little over a mile. We saw several gators, and a red shoulder hawk that was enjoying a fresh-caught meal. This was a great place to just relax in the beautiful outdoors.

No, however there are metal boxes at each of our trailheads requesting a $3.00 donation that is used for our education programs and trail maintenance. All four CREW trail systems are open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset. Happy Hiking!
Yup! Check out the details on this page: https://crewtrust.org/camping/ Permit is required for all primitive campsites.
Bikes are not allowed on this trail. However, biking is allowed on the Bird Rookery Swamp and the Cypress Dome trails. See their website for directions and more biking info.
Check the weather for Fort Myers, it should be similar.
Still under reconstruction from the damage caused by the hurricane.
