This park is nice the trees are finally growing to give shade there used to be no shade whatsoever. However, it's closed Monday and Tuesday to conserve water open all other days of the week from 1-6pm.

Honoestly for the price (free)you can't beat it. The park was perfect for the warm weather did just what it was supposed to as far as keeping you cool and keeping the kiddos busy. It is a public park however so the restroom were gross and no changing station. My kids had a blast so I gave it a 4

City of Bakersfield Recreation & Parks' spray parks will open on Sat., May 29 from 1-6p. They will be open Tue-Sun through Labor Day (Sept. 6).
The spray parks will be unavailable on Mondays (except for holidays) in an effort to conserve water.🚱

It isn't gated but there is a large distance between the water and the street their is always alot of little kids
