Holiday Inn Express & Suites Frazier Park, an IHG Hotel

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Frazier Park/Lebec on 6/15. There were two of us in a regular king room. We were in a recently remodeled room and everything was nice and everything was clean. The bed was good and the shower was great! The internet was reasonably good, better than some hotels. Breakfast was not as good as some other Holiday Inn Express hotels in the east, but it was acceptable. The hotel is under construction inside and out so parking is limited and would could not pull under the porch to unload, but all of that should be temporary. The black out shade on the window was fantastic. The front desk people were kind and very helpful.

This review is for their continental breakfast only. Service: only 1 staff on duty. She has to clean the dining area, restock the food on all stations. Therefore, she couldn't be attentive to the guests since she has a lot to take care. Food: Very happy with different varieties and selections. Hot food station, sausages, scrambled egg, cheese omelets and hot cinnamon buns! Love the freshly made pancakes! Just a simple touch on "OK" button, a few minutes later, two fresh pancakes are ready to enjoy! Of course, the basic items of cereal, oatmeal, yogurt & fruits. Toasters with bread, bagel, English muffins and muffins individually wrapped. Beverage of coffee, tea, milk & juice. Parking: own parking lot (free)

Rooms and hallways are newly remodeled. Was clean, but colors and design very stark, no warmth. Our room air conditioner was from an old room. Was dirty and it didn't work. Food service was awesome. Great breakfast, and the food worker was the best.

this property had easy freeway access. there was a lot of construction going on at the property. the pool and fitness room was not available for use and neither was the whole second floor. No noise from this. it appears that they had started the refurbishment on the 3rd floor as that was where our room was and it had been updated but there was a large empty space where I think normally a chair or small table and chairs was suppose to be so the only place to sit in the room was the desk chair or bed Not the best. there was no mention of any of this work on the website when I booked the room. I believe the rate should have been discounted for these reasons.
