I had the grilled fish sandwich... The bun was good.. the slice of tomato was bigger than the piece of fish on the sandwich.. The sun deck at Lani Kai is all about atmosphere. It's on the beach and has a great view. !! The rum runners are great! But the food is not that good. At least this is my experience.. been here 10 times or so over the last few months. each time the food quality was about the same. Not good. Good place to have a drink thou.

Not very impressed with this place. We came up for brunch 2 weekends ago and had the sweetest server. Admittedly I don’t remember her name but she was blonde and younger. She was very pleasant, attentive, and helpful. However as she was talking with us at our table, an older lady (my husband caught her name on her name tag- JAX) came up to her at our table and was yelling at her and being extremely unprofessional. Management watched it happen and did not bother stepping in. I worked in the industry both as a server and in management for 20 years and talking to a coworker like that would never cross my mind. We were very disappointed to see this happen.the food was mediocre, birds were everywhere, and the $20 parking wasn’t worth it. We ended up telling our server she should get a job next door at the cottage, they’re all nice and respectful there.

Hi Bill! Currently, we're offering daily Happy Hour in the Sun Deck from 4 to 6 p.m., as well as $3 mimosas, bloody marys and screwdrivers every day, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Our Island View offers some weekly specials, as well as Chef's Special throughout the week. Hope you have been safe and well!
Hi Diane! Yes, we have live bands and entertainment every day throughout the Lani Kai. In our Sun Deck, you can enjoy solo/duo entertainment from about 5 to 9 p.m. every evening. Please consider pairing with our daily Happy Hour, which is offered 4 to 7 p.m. We hope to see you soon!

Island view is open and has and incredible buffet. The Sundeck, I am not sure. There are two rooftop restaurants, island view and sundeck
