This was our first time here and the food was absolutely amazing!! We ordered the surf and turf and then ordered the crème brûlée cheese cake which did not disappoint! The service however was not up to par and it was like our server just kind of forgot about us. We had to ask for our salads and then when she brought them she brought me the wrong one, my husbands beer had been sitting for a good five minutes after it was poured before she brought it to him, and she never asked if we needed anything for our meal once it was served. However, the umbrella service at the end was a nice surprise to be able to leave without getting too wet!!! Kudos to management for umbrella service!!

Took the bartender over 10 min for 1 drink to be made to which we were told she’s new and never made that particular drink, my drink was quick but could taste nothing but alcohol and salt, my dates steak wasn’t cooked properly, the baked potatoes on both meals were not cooked through, waitress had the personality of a sloth and all we got offered was a drink or dessert. Never will I eat here.

We visited this restaurant on September 13, 2022 on Tuesday for the special 3 service for 2 people total $40 The special is worth the detour we took the Caesar salad and the 10 oz steak we took the baked potato twice cooked an extra 1.50 humm. For dessert a cheesecake .. Everything was delicious and our waitress jenny a pearl .. Take a detour and go to kj's steakhouse ....

This was our 1st visit and possibly our last visit. Our friends have dined here for several years and made reservations for the 4 of us as it was to be a birthday celebration. The decor is very upscale, but it ended there for us. The 8oz prime rib was more like 4oz with fat. The "Rachel Surf & Turf " : the lobster tail was at best warmed over and tough. The very small sirloin portion was about the same, tough. The 8oz. "Mavrick Sirloin " was done medium rare as requested and very juicy. A little heavy on the salt application before pan frying, but tasty. The baked potato was cooked properly, but just warm as the butter never melted. The "birthday " cake was a chocolate brownie covered with chocolate sauce and a very small scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. We asked our waitress to have the manager see us about the prime rib. He came over and said we should have called for him earlier. However, when the bill was presented, he had removed the prime rib from the bill. Overall impression was of another good restaurant that was struggling because of poor quality control in the kitchen and lack of experienced staff. Let's hope there are better days ahead 🙏.

Yes they do
Staff wears masks. QR code menus available. Sanitized menus and tables and seats between use. Touch less soap and paper towels in bathrooms.
They do not have boneless wings. They used to have boneless buffalo fish wings. Their appetizers are more ' signature' to KJ's and not the normal stuff at most restaurants.
They do have a chicken tenders appetizer.
Yes it is a family restaurant complete with highchairs
Definitely better food than longhorn. But if you don't want to take our word for it try a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday where they have specials on sirloin, prime rib and seafood, starting at $8.49
They will be closed on Thanksgiving, that day and Christmas are the only days they are closed.
