Free to visit, adjoining the Reynolds House Museum of American Art. Well curated formal gardens focusing on roses, which were in full bloom and gorgeous. They’re also cultivating vegetables and a salsa garden. The Palm House is closed on the weekends.

Very pretty, we did not go in Manor nor the shops . 4 stars because some maintenance needed. Trees are Amazing, nice place to relax and enjoy the peace.flowers are pretty. Rest rooms available.

Always a pleasant place to walk and view the architecture and gardens. If you visit the Gardens I suggest you also see Reynolda House from the outside and also the shops and restaurants at Reynolda Village. Read about the history. This is a very unique place on the edge of Wake Forest University campus. Return for a visit inside Reynolda House and Museum of American Art and learn the history of Reynolda. A beautiful place and local treasure!

I think the shops are closed but the trail is open
I saw several people walking/jogging with dogs around the property.
I've never seen a time when the gardens are closed. There is no way to close them, go anytime you want. After five enter from Reynolda Villiage
Agreed depends on what you're wanting to do. Village Tavern or Silo's are great restaurants surrounded by a few boutique shops. Gardens are leisurely and beautiful for pictures or just taking in the sun and nature. People run and walk trails around the house past a waterfall/bridge that leads to Wake Forest. The Reynolda House Museum of American Art is fantastic! Historic house is furnished like a home when the Reynolds and Babcocks lived their with permanent collection art. A new modern design addition is for traveling exhibitions. (1-2 hrs there). You could spend most of a day there in all these places or just a couple hours. :)
