The service technician was on time and provided courteous service and the estimate of the repair ($99), but my complaint has more to do with the way the management team does not use the information that the customer provides prior to the repair date, and that could have improved the customer experience. For example, the online booking system asks the specific nature of the trouble the customer is experiencing. After sharing that information (no heat from dryer but it appears to be working with cold air) the management team could have pre-ordered the part and either sent it out prior to the appointment date or contacted the customer to reschedule it. Having to wait until the technician arrives and paying the $99 estimate for them to tell you that another day off of work has to be sacrificed is inconvenient at the least but annoying at the most, particularly if you are being charged $500 or more for a dryer repair, when you could get a new dryer for the same price along with a warranty for the new dryer (this team quotes a 90-day warranty for their service repair, which in my situation was another dealbreaker). Still, I guess if you can afford to be off of work for two dates in a month and need an expert to confirm that you’re better off buying a new appliance, then I guess this company is worth your time.

They came to repair my over the range microwave on June 14 2021, and said they were ordering parts for it. Today is Sept 16th, 2021, and still no parts. There has been no response from them inspite of my several calls and requests for an update. Worse, I have a Sears Master Protection Agreement with them for that microwave and they're supposed to replace it if parts not available. UPDATE: After going back and forth between Sears and their Contractor, thankfully the contractor decided to solve my problem by installing the part that was available which is actually a temporary fix as I was not getting any response from Sears regarding replacement of my Microwave due to the unavailability of the door. This matter shall come up again. I see some reviews have got a response from someone calling themselves "the owner". Who is this owner?

Technician was very knowledgeable and was able to solve my leaky washing machine problem! He explained what was wrong, how he was going to fix it and gave me the cost before doing any work. He did a great job! The only draw back was that the labor fee was really pricey considering the cost actual part that needed to be replaced ($300 labor fee, $100 replacement part). I understand that these technicians are highly experienced but maybe Sears should mention the labor fees on their website or something so that customers know what to expect when technicians come in! Or maybe omit the diagnostic fee altogether since the labor fee is high. Overall it was a good job and my problem was fixed, but was just pricier than I expected.

Sears Appliance Repair Service is NON-EXISTENT! Don't buy anything through Sears...ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTONMER SERVICE EVER!Kenmore water heater covered by 9-yr warranty, heating system failed. Called Sears to have it fixed, scheduled for 5/7. On the day of service, we get a call/notice that truck broke down, now rescheduled to Saturday, 5/9. Repair guy showed up in the morning, replaced part and flushed tank. When he left, it was working, but 2-hrs later water was gushing out of the drain valve, flooding our garage. Luckily the damage could have been much worse hadn't my wife gone into garage and called me. I had to shut off the water to the tank to stop the flow. We immediately called Sears back to get the repair guy back. All they could do was tell me that they sent him a message. After 5-6 calls back to Sears and no response from the repair guy, finally at 4:45PM they said he would be calling us to come back out and fix the valve. No call! Now after 5PM, Sears Repair Ctr is closed...without hot water thru the weekend. First thing Monday, we call Sears Service Ctr again, they state they have no repair person avail until Thursday, 5/14. They will ask to send someone sooner, but no guarantee. There is absolutely no priority given to current jobs that were not fixed properly. The Customer Service reps have absolutely no authority and are USELESS. Now it will be 10+ days without hot water...thanks to Sears!
