This was the only hotel we could get since we arrived pretty late at night. Just needed a place to stay for that night only and the price was reasonable. Their complimentary breakfast was very good. The donner lake is literally in the back yard of those. Just need to walk a bit to arrive or drive which is like 2 min away max. But I recommend the walk since it’s beautiful scenery. The bad thing is the construction going on I front of it. The hotel is definitely outdated. But I found the bed to be very comfortable. Our room was on the main floor which over looked the forest/donner park

Great value, convenient location to many ski resorts. Friendly staff, coffee machine 24/7. Breakfast lounge can also be used at other times of the day. Very Clean rooms, just need a little touch up paint hear & there. Our 2nd visit & will stay again.

Location is good for skiing, room is clean. But the wall is super thin, u can clearly hear the noise from rooms next to you, on the hallway, and especially on the floor up to you. Can’t sleep well

This is a no frills hotel. The listing says 2 star, but but it's clean, with grab and go breakfast, close to grocery stores and 15 minutes to the mountain for skiing so I would stay here again. Would give 5 stars, but there was no housekeeping during our stay due to Covid, which had I known that before arrival, I would've just booked a VRBO.
