Always pleasant and peaceful experience. I like that it’s so close to nature and at the same time close to civilization. Nice quick walk in the exercise equipment is convenient if you would like to partake.

Excellent park, makes for a great leisurely walk with great views and entertainment for the kids. Dog park is also excellent! Highly recommended!

We stopped at the dog park, it's pretty cool this is a hidden gem in cape coral. Lots of trees plenty of water and great benches everywhere. Nice more than 5 stars.

there are several resterants on cape coral pkwy over a miles away
I haven't seen any there but, I'm sure they are in the water.
Yes and i believe it's daily. There is a dog park and if you just want to walk your dog around there is a marked walkway. Only humans can explore into the different areas..go check it out!
Yes they need their shots and paper work. I was not checked but they could request them
You can however I don't know about fishing
The park itself and the dog park is open from dawn to dusk. The office is open Monday - Saturday 8 am to 4 pm. I am a volunteer at the butterfly house, we are open Monday, Friday and Saturday at 10:30 am and close at noon (the misters come on at 12:05 to give the butterflies drinks). If volunteers are around and not busy they have been known to give visitors a quick peek.
Not that I'm aware of, but they have classes you can take there to learn to make them, contact Parks and Recreation in Cape Coral!
Besides the last comments slightly not so nice nature, your concern is so sweet, pitbulls get such a bad rap... he should be fine, mine is almost 2 sweetest happiest give everyone kissed kinda boy, lol... he wasn't an issue...
Gosh I really don't know. I take our dog there to play at waggin tails, maybe you could call that office and they could help you. Good luck.
Nö fishing
The dog park has an annual fee per dog. You dog must be licensed and have cuttent Rabies and I believe distemper shot records. The office makes and keeps a copy. Your dog gets a tag and you get a gate code. You are responsible for your dogs behavior and picking up after it. Poop bags are provided by the park. The are water faucets to give your pets water, playing is had work. You can register on line or off, but you must go into the office to get the tag for each dog and the gate code.
Yes, the ponds are fresh water. However, they can dry up completely during the dry season.
