After living here for 5 years and moving due to purchasing a home D AND R village is a nice, quiet, and well kept neighborhood. Never had any issues with other tenants within the park. Maintenance was always helpful and drove by with a smile and a wave. The office staff was also very polite and professional always offering to help out anyway that they could. Would highly recommend if you’re in the market and looking to live in the Clifton park area.

I've moved 22 times in my life. This is the first home I've ever owned and I've lived here the longest, going on 16 years. There have been many changes to this park over the years, mostly positive, and the neighborhood is safe and quiet and well maintained. Lot rent is higher here than most parks and increases yearly. In light of that, it would be nice to have a private community center or pavilion for community or family gatherings for the residents to utilize and an updated, larger playground for the kids. (I vote for a pool!) One of the nice things about the Clifton Park area is having everything you need within a 5 mile radius such as restaurants, doctors, shopping centers, hiking trails, parks, etc. You can travel to the Adirondacks, the Catskills, Vermont, the Finger Lakes or even NYC to get away and the Northway is less than one mile west on Rt. 146. One of the downsides, however, development has grown substantially over the years so traffic can be horrible especially during rush hours! Trying to exit the park during those times can be very difficult and so far there are no plans for the town to add a traffic light to alleviate this issue. For the most part, I am content with my home and the neighbors I have gotten to know over the years.

D&R Village is a lovely manufactured home community. The residents maintain their homes and yards. The staff does a good job of maintaining the common areas. In the winter the roads are salted and well plowed. In general the area is peaceful, quiet and safe. So nice to have friendly neighbors!
