Best Western Plus Orchid Hotel & Suites

Thoroughly impressed with this hotel. My wife and I stayed here with our dog for the weekend to go to a wedding. The room was clean and spacious, the A/C worked well, and the bed/towels/etc were all clean. All the staff interactions were great and the other guests were very friendly as well. We also enjoyed the small breakfast both mornings. Waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, yogurt and other continental stuff. It was better than I expected for what we paid. This hotel was the cheapest of the better -rated hotels that allow for pets. I will most definitely stay here again when traveling to Rocklin area.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was a good size and clean. Loved that the vanity and sink were separate from the shower and toilet, my only problem with that was not enough lighting around the vanity but other than that it was great. Had the free breakfast buffet in the morning and it was very good. They had hot food like hash browns, sausage and eggs. You can make your own waffles and pancakes. I was very happy with my stay here.

Found pills in a baggy in our room and smelly microwave. Thry said they are having problems getting staff. Pool was cold. Spa was really nice and warm. Shower curtain was too lite and wrapped around legs. We had to get magnets to hold it down. Shower had good water pressure maybe too much. Could hear upstairs people walking around in middle of the night. Breakfast was really good and staff was really nice.

Positive: We just now after staying here many times before that you have different styles of rooms. And I love the room with the living room where you are able to close the two doors for more privacy from the other room..also the extra pull out bed is great. Sry dr Negative: Just that if the maids are not coming daily..then maybe putting extra garbage liners in the bottom of cans. And one extra roll of tp. Maybe a few extra cups..other then that all good..
