Registration for new members closes at 2pm on weekends and the pool is closed on Sundays. I didn’t see this anywhere on the website. The staff informed me by literally yelling at me after I politely asked to register. At least the security guard was nice and gave me a paper with the pool schedule. Just a heads up, if you’re looking for adult lap swim there’s not a lot of open hours each week.

Under 23 it's $25 a year to 🏊 swim! I'm excited! Update: pool is freezing!! But it's near our house and pretty cheap. Make sure to bring a bathing cap. Hours for family swim are kind of limited and the locker room isn't sparkling clean but this is a classic Brooklyn vibe - the DMV of swimming pools

$150 adults 25+(discounted with NYC ID), Seniors discounted, free for kids up to 17, $25 17-25 yo.
I e-mailed the city, they said its reopening in October so... :)
They open at 8 to 12
18 and under should be free, I signed my daughter up earlier this yr and she's 11, didn't pay anything. The other prices quoted above sounds right.
The facility is open, clean and well run.
The st. Johns recreation center currently has a summer camp program going on..... maybe call them and ask or come in person 🤔
No, they are closed on Sunday. There is a funny schedule so you would have to go there and check it out.
Yes, there are classes such as yoga and chair aerobics that a lot of seniors take.
The gym will reopen on the 2nd I think.....give them some time to get teams going....mask will be required.
Yes, but with social distancing
No if your 16 or younger u have a free membership as long as your parent signs u up
Go to the rec center, ask for a application and be prepared to pay a fee
Yes but you can TRY and get a "guest pass" to try it out for one time
Not really
Yes they have an amazing indoor basketball court with plenty of balls!

You could go to the main office and ask to be sure
I don't know but you can call them.
Your best bet is contact customer services department for the info
Not just the gym, also the building. City council and government rules are in place for the protection of the children. So only approved staff.
Seems to me they wasn't interested in helping you and that was unfortunate
Pls check parks dept site
Its close for rentavtion
It's opening in march
No. There are separate changing rooms, but otherwise the facility accepts all genders every day.
March.
Sometime in january .. Speculation

It depends upon how old you are. You need to call to get that question answered correctly.
No parking lot. Street parking is difficult. Must move car by 11 am.
Yes
Not always, just mostly when the kids are off from school or ground holidays. At least that's what I've observed. Hope it helps. Happy New Year.
Membership is required for entry. Membership is either 6 months or a year.
Its a $5.00 fee for lost or replacement membership cards
Only with membership. Not sure if there's a daily membership. 6 month membership is about 65 total. There's also basketball courts outside when it's warmer.
