Yesterday September 7th the employees at 13th auto zone in Gainesville were very patient with me and helpful. Helped me get the right filter and oil drain plug. The same gentlemen tested my battery and got my dead battery going with a portable booster so I could at least drive my car home. Another cashier was very friendly.

Came in carrying a battery to get checked, NO CUSTOMERS were in the store! NO EMPLOYEE asked to assist me, even though I thought it was pretty obvious what I was there for. Had to go the woman at the desk to ask for her to do her job. She tells me the battery was no good, so I carry it back out to my car only to have two employees blocking the doorway while having a conversation amongst themselves, I say excuse me several times and not only do they not at least open the door, they BARELY moved out the way, and looked at me like I inconvenienced their little “circle jerk”. I tried to ignore the unprofessionalism, thinking I may have been irritated because of the news of the death of a close family member just 15 minutes before entering the store. The professionalism was non existent and I was very disappointed as I’ve been using Advanced Auto for many years now.

No. But if you go to the local Autozone the can charge an test the battery and the whole system. For FREE.
Most dealers and parts stores can replace the battery. They generally use a watch battery available from Walmart, Lowe's or Home Depot.
