Some of the receptionists are extremely rude and miserable people. As I approached the desk and started to ask a question, I was interrupted by angry woman, who just shouted at me "Name". I thought to myself that was rude and unprofessional but ok I'll say my name and then again try to ask my question. I started to ask my question a 2nd time and again was interrupted by receptionist , who said "you need to go downstairs, you are in wrong place'" and turned away dismissively . As I started to ask my question a 3rd time , she again started to interrupt me and said 'I told you , that you need to go downstairs". It was then I raised my voice slightly to be heard over her interrupting me , when she jumped up out of her chair and screamed at me " dont you dare raise your voice to me ...I'm going to get my supervisor. The woman was unhinged, unprofessional, and her performance was worthy of an dramatic academy award . How about when patients approach the registration desk , the workers say hello, or how are you today.?...instead of rudely ignoring their questions and shouting out "Name"...and treat people with respect, even if they dont conform to you expectations of how they should humbly submit to your wishes and personal way of conducting ourselves when confronted by rude , unprofessional people.

Hit or miss. Depends on the employee, the encounter or the day. Every appointment seems to require five or more communications : a reminder on m”My Bassett” website, s reminder text, a reminder email, a reminder phone call, a Covid screening message, a follow-up survey. Insane and all this fuss and bother fo not jibe with one’s experience. They are almost always running late but rush you through your appointment to get back on schedule. I have had three situations where I waited 10 minutes or more past my appointment time where I was asked to reschedule. Most professionals are mediocre at best, no shining examples to hold up and applaud. Maybe the morale is off kilter which makes employees unhappy? All I lnow is this is a business first, healthcare is a billable commodity.You are settling for less than adequate care here and if your insurance is good they will recommend all manner of extra services.. Fond real professionals elsewhere.
