The vibes at this place were just what I was hoping for. Very laid back and everyone has a professional attitude. I observed every employee who returned to the shop wash their hands which tells me they take their jobs seriously. Freddie tattooed me and Corey tattooed my wife. They were both fantastic and the tattoos came out great!

From the moment I walked in to Victory Tattoo, I felt welcomed. I'll be very honest, most tattoo/piercing shops I've ever been in, I always feel so out of place and so uncomfortable. Definitely not the case here and I loved that. I had Corey as my artist. I came in and knew exactly what I wanted. He placed the temp tatt, and I wasn't 100% pleased with the placement and he was more than happy to remove it and adjust it to my preference. He wasn't rude or agitated at all, which I respected. I was actually in Daytona for vacation from Ohio. I'm wanting a memorial tatt for my sister who passed away suddenly this past November and I wish I could go all the way back to FL just so Corey could do that tattoo! He was awesome. Very professional. Love my tattoo!

Is 50 the minimum..even of its size of a quarter? Like his and hers on the fingers?

Yes. The $50 minimum is what goes towards supply costs to ensure we use the best needles, inks and sterilization procedures. A small fraction of the minimum goes towards shop overhead and costs and the artists really only make about $10-15 for their time and service. As supply costs rise over time, so does the universal shop minimum. Some shops are willing to do it for slightly less, but it is important that you review their quality of work, ask about their sterilization procedures and research their reputation. Even though a tattoo is small, we put the same amount of time, energy and effort into making sure it is safe quality art. There are some things in life you can cut corners on, but when it comes to your tattoo you should always invest in a licensed professional who won't put your health at risk.
