Great, free campground, 7 day limit, only 3 sites taken during this week in July while I was there. No RVs, tent only. Cars ok. Lots of great walking trails, also a drive thru trail (lots of potholes). Bring your binoculars/camera, lots of birds, deer and other wildlife. Closest stores are in Indiantown 7 miles away. Picnic table and grill on each campsite. Bathrooms available, showers at the equestrian center. Overall, nice place, though rated 4 because it could use some trash pickup around the park, but not too bad.

Great FREE campsite ! Clean & quiet.

Good camp spot. Bathrooms are not so good, so I removed one star. There are clean restrooms and showers at the equestrian campsite, but it’s a two mile hike to get there.

A real gem. Free camping in a gorgeous setting. 8 night max.

Hi Rochelle, this is the link.... https://www.sfwmd.gov/recreation-site/dupuis-management-area you must create an account, then log in to make your reservation. They have 5 entrances with different things to do. ***USE #3 -the Equestrian- for hot showers and real toilets..... *** ALWAYS CARRY YOUR RESERVATION WITH YOU *** If any of the guests tells you something like: "you're not supposed to be here" DON'T freak out, just let them know you have permission as well, your reservation and they can contact the Camp Host. Hope this helps, Have fun!!!☺
Go to sfwmd.org click on to recreation. Then scroll down to location you wish to stay at. Then go to the apply for special permit spot. And choose the days available you wish to stay. Do enjoy.
free with reservations I do believe. call south west water management district for more info. the equestrian camp and dispersed camping at a different entrance is also free with a reservation from SWWMD also.
Where do i get a camping permit
Not that I've noticed. I know that dupuis doesn't but you're still getting way more than you pay for🙂
There is a Family campground for tents only, no showers, potable water and down the road is an equestrian campground for RVS (no hookups) and a small area for tents. They have showers. If you are staying at the family campgrounds, you can take a drive and take a shower there. We liked the family sites better, to many people at the other.
Yes and you need a permit to camp
