My irrigation is set to run two days a week for 30 minutes per zone. Every two years, they will charge me hundreds over dollars. First time it was for over $700. Just recently $365.00. The month prior was $98.98 prior to that less. I asked how did my bill increase over $200.00 in one billing cycle. They blame it on the irrigation. I asked if they could come out to check. Declined. I never ever experienced this with any other utility company before. I am going to report this to Channel 9 News and to the City Commissioners. The City Utilities will shut off your water before making a payment arrangement with customers that have unexpected high bills.
