We are extremely dissatisfied with manner in which we have been treated in regards to the billing for a minor surgical procedure which was necessary, prior to a more advanced surgery. Normally, we are billed one price, the insurance approves payment at a specific price, and the balance is adjusted. However, since I signed the required “consent to pay” form prior to the procedure (or they would have refused the surgical procedure altogether), we are being told that we must pay the entire unadjusted bill or it will go to collections. Our insurance company said that such is unethical, and has worked to be an advocate for us, and yet over a month later and no adjustment has been made to our balance due, and we are being expected to pay the entire unadjusted balance or face a collection company.

My mother in law was transported here from a short term care facility into ICU here. We were told by the Doctors and staff that she wouldn't survive without a breathing mask on her face. So we started the comfort care process. We went to the extent of bringing family in from Miles away to say there good byes. We even brought here cat in as a final wish. We asked them to do trials which they told us they did which clearly they did not. She was taken off the mask and is fine to the point they have now told us they are shocked and now are starting the transition process to get her back to the care facility. As greatful as I am that she is alive, I am extremely frustrated of how the staff has treated this process. They literally scared the heck out of us to the point we were calling funeral homes. I feel if the staff had done there jobs adequately, they would have done the trials we requested before they started jumping to conclusion that she was dying. It was clear the moment they took the breathing mask off that she was in much better condition then we were being told. Not impressed!

Huge thanks to Emily Worden, nutrition specialist, for going above and beyond the call of service. A friend traveling to Utah to have a specialized surgery for MALS had her sole source nutrition formula not make it in transit. Emily worked with me to have a courier service pick up and deliver samples of the formula to her hotel so she can make it through the night. A total saviour.. while their offices close at 3pm, Emily helped facilitate the pickup at 3:30pm to ensure my friend's health and nutrition prior to her surgical procedure at Intermountain Medical Center. Thank you Emily for going above and beyond for patients in need!!

You can park on the property for up to 7 days if you are a patient, family member of a patient, or if you live a long distance from the hospital and you have an appointment or business at the hospital. You have to park by the RV hookups and contact security so they can come unlock the box and hook your cord up. You also have to sign a disclosure, have a ID, and let security walk through your RV to make sure there is nothing hazardous or illegal inside. If you need to park for longer than 7 days, it is allowed as long as you have a note from the doctor stating how long you will be there.
European (Youre a peein)
It can come off when you leave the hospital
This isn't Costco. No returns.
Wow.😡
Ask your medical provider
Intermountain should take it but its whether or not AARP considers it in network for your insurance. Best thing to do is call your insurance and ask.
You will probably need a referral from your primary care physician - the doctor who does your regular wellness checks.
Look it up on google
There is one at. LDS intermountain healthcare in salt lake city.
Yes two visitors are allowed per patient. You have to have a band on your wrist given by the patients doctor
There is a security department and that is most likely your point of contact for a lost and found. If you call and ask for them they can probably give you more specific information.
Yes there is, just ask for the Cashier... They are very good and polite
Call your Dr - announced yesterday that they will only be doing essential surgeries. So depends on how important they view your surgery
No idea

Bldg 1 has mostly specialist doctors heart, lung wound clinic, bldg 2 has more doctors and the labs, X-ray, etc. Your best bet is to call main switchboard they can connect you to a specific doctor or clinic

Nope, not unless surgery is on that area. You're supposed to leave contacts out, and things like jewelry at home.
Not sure about this. They are an amazing hospital though. Highly recommend!!
I just called and requested them. They took about a week. I picked up a CD with the MRI on it.
Depends on your income. And ask the front desk
What's your question?
That is the patient tower, which is building 5, the tallest building.
Depends on which one.
