Cannot thank Atlantic Reproductive enough. Dr. Peavey was an answer to our prayers! She laid out the perfect plan to help us conceive, explained everything thoroughly every step of the way, and was so pleasant throughout the entire process. After 14 months of TTC, we are expecting a sweet little miracle in March! So thankful for the care received here and will recommend to anyone!!

The Physicians are top notch...however they do not have enough lab space to accomodate current patients. The front staff lack any compassion whatsoever, billing, insurance verification and scheduling is a mess (and none of this will be disclosed to you up front), the portal is archaic however this is the only way you'll be able to communicate with anyone- voicemails will only be returned telling you to go through the portal, instructions are copy and pasted without any reference to your particular situation (dates will be wrong, requirements incorrect). You will pay each time you'd like to speak to your provider. You will be nickle and dimed in every possible way. If you are in anyway a complex patient or there is any possibility you may need multiple retrievals or transfers I highly suggest you choose another clinic.

Dr. Walmer is awesome! The staff was so friendly and professional. I had a series of bad experiences at Duke Fertility. I'm so glad I switched. We are expecting our first child!

Hi Lashea: Typically, insurance covers the new patient visit and many of the diagnostic tests for fertility. After you schedule a new patient visit and provide your insurance information, a financial coordinator will contact you to let you know your responsibility for the visit. Thank you.

I am 46 with my tubes are only clamped. I'm wanting to know which is the best way for the best results. IVF or clamp removal

It is rare for a woman to conceive and have a child after the age of 45 without the assistance of donor oocytes due to the high incidence of genetically abnormal (aneuploid) embryos at that age. We recommend making an appointment with a reproductive endocrinologist for an in-depth discussion and to evaluate your ovarian reserve so that you can make the most informed decision. If the ovarian reserve is high, the best option might be IVF to get the highest chance of conception in the shortest time and to be able to evaluate the genetics of the embryos that result. Women with a borderline low ovarian reserve are better candidates for tubal reversal, knowing that the probability of success is going to be very low
